AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-82 2.2Ghz?

it has 2MB cache, i was wondering how this processor performs, or at least a comparison of performance to lets say, a T6400 or T6500. i cant find any benchmarks or any more information than mere specs. can anyone chip in? thanks!

I would just go with what's cheapest; all the dual core processors out now are more than fast enough for everybody's laptop needs (unless you've got a great graphics card in the laptop, which almost nobody has).
Get something with whatever features you want and at least 3GB of RAM.

The Turion is slower than a T6400, but it's not a really huge difference.

45nm Intel uses significantly less power, I'm waiting for AMD's 45nm mobiles.

That's a good point-- probably longer battery life with the Intel.
