I am looking into buying a laptop, and the manufacturer is giving me an option to choose the CPU.

among those,
i see two different kind of AMD Turion

1. Turion ML-37 2.0GHz 35W - 1MB Cache
and
2. Turion MT-37 2.0GHz 25W - 1MB Cache

what's the difference?
Only thing I see is the wattage...
what kind of difference does it make other than saving battery?

The only difference IS the wattage (and the price proabably). Lower wattage=more battery life.

Lower stock voltage = lower heat (watts)

Ml looks to be 1.35 v, Mt looks to be 1.2v stock

Really depends, if your laptop is mostly at idle/light usage the difference in battery life will likely be minimal, as the lower power states would be the same for all Turion processors. However, if it's going to be heavily loaded most of the time then going with the 25w Turion might be a smart choice.
