AMD TrueAudio Next and CU Reservation – What is the Context?

Bummed that they aren't pushing the built in DSP angle any more. I thought that was a cool feature that died for lack of support
 
On one side I agree, on the other side I think that this has the potential to scale beyond your typical DSP capabilities and it doesn't waste any GPU space if you don't use it. A potential win-win.

The DSPs are being leveraged in the console chips though. It's not a complete waste. Disappointing yes because the demos out there were impressive to me.
