Ugh, couldn't they have picked a *good* game? They were on such a roll with Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry 3...

I heard they have new plans for discrete GPUs for this year ;). Think BF4 or HL3 :).

They should bundle Crysis 3 with any A4, A6, A8 or A10 APU. :sneaky:

THAT would hinder sales.

*enjoys Sim City*

I'm skeptical as to whether it would even run that well on an APU. I have a Q6600@3.0 + HD5670, which is damn near an A10 (probably a little faster in both CPU and GPU) and Sim City runs kinda poorly.

But what's your internet connection like? It must be pretty tough on it, all that server side processing :awe:

Actually the a10 is faster than the q6600 at 3.0 ghz in cpu tasks (they are close, but the a10 is faster)

I am using Anandtechs Bench in the below link. The link compares the 45nm Q9650 at 3.0 ghz vs the a10-5800k. The Q9650 at 3.0 ghz is better than your Q6600 at the same clock speed for it has more cache and some minor tweeks that improved ipc a little when intel went from 65nm to 45nm. Even then the Q9650 loses agains the a10. Thus your Q6600 would also logically lose as well.

Note though the processors are very close though, but the a10 is the superior processor. Also your gpu would be faster, close but still faster.
