AMD Thunderbird 900 Overclocking

Just wanted to know what some of you have gotten with your 900 t-birds. I picked one up yesterday, curious what they hit safely. Voltage/bus/multiplier information if you have it.

P.S I am using an Asus A7V, 400mb of Corsair PC133 memory.
 
As long as you have a good HSF, you should be safe. Most people recomment the GW FOP 32/38, Taisol, or the Alpha PAL6035.

I haven't heard of anyone experience any problems with the volatage being too high, so 1.85v should be OK.

The FSB will stay around 100x2FSB. It doesn't really OC that much, but if you can get it around to 110, that's pretty good.

Multiplier, you can go as high as it will let you.

Generally, just keep the heat in check, and up the voltage to the max. Up the multiplier, and tune it down whenever you think it is unstable. Then you can tinker with the FSB if you want to get the extra couple of clocks.

Yeah, you're better off upping the multiplier adjustments rather than upping the FSB speeds. There are places that sell 900Mhz Thunderbirds guarenteed to 1.1 Ghz, so I see no reason why that isn't a realistic possibility for you. For extra cooling, the GlobalWin FOP32-1 is an excellent purchase.

I have three friends with 900s and they all do 1100mhz so I think it will not be a problem for you to do the same.
