Lemme know when something actually cool has actually arrived. Then I'll maybe consider the possibility of entertaining the prospect of giving half a ****

While this is probably something along the lines of TressFX, perhaps they are announcing a new bundle or something, it would be interesting to see a game engine designed from the ground up by one of the graphics houses for the purpose of licensing.

If done well it would be a great way to not only push the bounds of PC gaming (everyone complains about shoddy ports) but also ensure TWIMTBP/GE dominance.

With AMD in all of the next gen consoles, it might even be in their best interest to put together an engine that lends itself to porting. If we're going to get nothing but console ports, might as well make it as easy as possible while having it run fantastically on your own hardware.

You're accusing someone of doing something he hasn't done yet when there is another poster (maybe two or three) that already does exactly this. Your comment embodies the definition of classy.

Some people on this forum are die-hard brand fans, for whatever reason. I've given up on reason on VC&G.

Meehh... I feel whenever someone says something like this, its kinda like the olds law in off topic, it never turns out to be true

The city screen looks nice, but its way too vague

I"m aware of that, and other therapy staples, I've been exposed, and have my own experiences. My comment was more, it's hard to throw that out, after a few posts in a discussion without nothing else introduced.
It basically said don't debate ' AMD throwing a middle finger at Nvidia' because you are just defending what you own. That is way to general to be of any merit.

I read this as:

Some people on this forum are brain-dead brand fans, for whatever reason.

looks like AMD is going to give the middle finger again to Nvidia... AGAIN! :p

We often complain how filled with flame-bate the gpu forums are on AT - so much so that, statistically, I am willing to be that you have complained about it as well.

So why, then, do you phrase your OP in such an antagonistic manner? Do you think it will have no effect on the discussion, or are you hoping that it will?

If its a dual-GPU card, I couldn't care less. Want an AMD 'Titan' with 50% more grunt than the 7970. I would buy that with 6GB RAM. :)
