• Improvements to stutter experienced while playing Counter Strike 2.
• EA SPORTS FC™ 24 may fail to open on some AMD Graphics Products, such as the Radeon™ RX 7800 XT.
• System freeze or black screen when playing video files on Radeon™ RX 6000 Series Graphics Products.
• The display may intermittently freeze after changing the encode format while streaming select games with AMD Link.

Known Issues​

• Performance Metrics Overlay may report N/A for FPS on various games.
• Audio may intermittently become out of sync with video when recording from AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with AV1 codec.
• Corruption may be observed in Forza Motorsport when RT is enabled.
• Intermittent flickering may be briefly observed in Total War: Pharaoh’s menus after changing graphics settings.

Important Notes​

• Factory Reset has been temporarily disabled as a precautionary measure while we address isolated installation issues that have been reported during PC upgrades. Users may use AMD Cleanup Utility as a temporary option.
• For users who previously installed an AMD Software insider preview driver, running AMD Cleanup Utility is recommended before installing this driver.

Already have the driver installed but I didn't bother enabling it as performance is already good for me. They have removed the drivers on the link in the first post so you cannot download it anymore they should provide an update shortly.

AMD's implementation of Anti-Lag+ means it modifies game files so VAC (and probably any other anti cheat software out there) get's triggered and you'll get potentially banned because of that.

Probably the reason why AMD pulled the driver from there download section because they know they fucked up. I mean altering game files for any online game... really AMD? I don't know what's going on there, but you should know that this is a big no go. Hope that doesn't mean Anti-Lag+ will be useless besides offline gaming, because that's how the implementation of AL+ is done. Don't think they'll change that.

I wouldn't go this far it will probably be fixed shortly.

Weird, I played a little bit the other day and didn't notice anything so i exited and disabled it.. logging back in to see if I'm banned. Then again there are so many people that cheat in CS that it's probably some idiots getting caught and blaming Anti Lag + Where's the source citing the problem?

How do you want to fix this? It is exactly how anti-lag+ works and how it is supposed to work according to AMD themselves - it's meant to alter game files. And that's a big problem for any anti cheat software.

As long as it's a driver feature which you have to activate there rather than in game, I don't see a fix for this. That is also a reason why reflex has to be enabled directly in the game.

Well the latest beta drivers disable Anti-Lag+ in ALL supported games. So there's that.

23.10.2 is out, by the way. I updated to it from 23.9.3, they recommend doing so, I think anti-lag+ is disabled currently.

I didn't post it because 23.10.2 is a beta I stick to full releases, i'm still in 23.10.1 with Anti lag+ disabled and will probably stay here until next driver.

Hmm, are you sure it is considered beta? According I have only recommended driver updates showed on the Radeon software, and this one came up, so I upgraded to it. I don't have it check notify for optional updates.

Yeah it was optional the first time it was posted but after a few days it received WHQL status.
It's currently the latest recommended driver. And it's basically the same as 23.10.1 but with anti-lag+ removed and a fix for CoD crashing.

if you look at the videocard linked posted on the 17th its also listed as such. However since then it looks like it has changed status.



The CS2 fixes are in 23.10.1 so those are not new for 23.10.2 only disabling Anti lag+. And since I already keep that turned off I didn't see the need to upgrade. Also if you have single player games that Anti lag + works on It nice to have that option still on the older driver.

I don't use it often but from what I remember it can't be enabled/disabled during the game. It needs a game restart. And from what I remember only Radeon chill has a sound cue...

You may be right...it depends what anti-lag you're talking about. I see now that you have a RDNA3 GPU so you're talking about anti-lag or anti-lag+ ? I have no experience with anti-lag+ and how it works. Also I think they disabled anti-lag+ on the latest drivers because users were getting banned in online games if they used anti-lag+ I was talking about the normal anti-lag and on RDNA2 I must enable anti-lag before the game starts or if I enable when the game is open I must restart the game. On RDNA3 it's possible to be different..idk.

If you don't clean up your drive after driver installation, there should be a folder in C:\AMD with the files needed to rollback to an earlier driver if you wanted to go back.
