I think I spoiled a dude's day when I told him the Duron 1.6 and ECS combo he was buying for $95 was on sale the other day for $50, this is really going to kill him! 😉

Although a Sempron 2800+ is about the same as a AthlonXP TBredB 2400+ right.....?

nah.. I tried that duron deal but its not as good.

lol! You don't like the PC Chips M811LU v3.1, a.k.a. Syntax SV266AD, a.k.a. ECS K7VTA2 PRO v3.1??

Personally I think its a great [budget] board for [budget] systems (kids, parents, grandparents, etc). The latest BIOS from PCChips and Syntax also adds support for Sempron processors, even though it will only run at 266MHz FSB.
