AMD Ryzen Pricing

Has anyone noticed that the Ryzen 1700X has been going on sale? I think that Monoprice via Ebay had this CPU for $379.99. Now MicroCenter has the CPU for $349.99 in store. There is also a shortage of motherboards. Could the motherboard shortage cause prices to fluctuate as well?

I think it's just that the Early Adopter tax is going away...retailers are moving away from the MSRP and setting their own prices.

Early adopter tax + probably some disappointment over launch issues. Even if nothing improves on the chip, 8 Zen cores is pretttttty good for ~$300.

And for some pro's are useful due Virtual Machine usage and some video edition (despite most of the SW are extremely badly implemented)
