I am running 3600 on one of my Taichi boards (X370)

Is that actually stable and have you adjusted any of the subtimings (either way)?
I'll give you a free license for Ram Test if you're willing to check that.

I've never seen a Ryzen running > 3466MHz truly stable, despite various people claiming that they are.

I wonder why AMD doesn't just bake in a GPU into all of it's processors like intel does? Hmmm.. I'd like to see a 1700 or 1800 (apu) series. Some people don't need a graphics card.
Or just a very basic GPU for troubleshooting etc into their chipset.

It's the same reason why Intel doesn't have iGPUs on their HEDT lines. Intel's HEDT chips are based on their server chips, and 1700 and 1800 AMD Ryzen chips are based on AMD's server lines. Intel just uses lower end server chip as the HEDT chip, and AMD uses single die version as theirs(as opposed to 4 on server).

Pinnacle will have far better memory support than Raven.

While technically this will be true, it won't default to any non-XMP speed higher than DDR4-2933, while Raven Ridge could theoretically default to DDR4-3200 if the DIMMs/SODIMMs allowed for it. That means nothing to people who are willing to tweak memory settings or just load an XMP profile, but for default users . . . actually it would mean very little since there are few (if any) DIMMs/SODIMMs that would default to those speeds anyway.

Typically this kind of general statement, especially when the chipset itself has no role in the memory compability or overclockability implies that the design rules / guide lines have been changed ;)
That's my meaning yes. 400 series boards would have stricter design rules.

Its running linux. So I don't have to reboot to check, how can I see what its running ?

One of my 3 may still be at 3600, but , yes I did have to take at least one down to 3466, just not sure what they are all running at, they do WCG 100%load and F@H 100%load 24/7
