AMD Retail HSF Specs

Where can I find specs on the retail AMD Heatsink/Fan?

I want to know how many dB the retail fan is so I know how the fan I want to replace it with compares.

last i heard amd was using taisol fans on their retail chips. taisol may have db ratings on their fans but i'm not sure. good luck.

Thanks, they got some AMD models that look alot like them, and the dB rating seems to be about in that range.

They sure dont move much air for that noise level (21.19 cfm at 36.5 dB)

Recently bought an xp1700, it came with this HSF-

Not quiet, that's for sure,(at least it doesn't whine) but I think the airflow is underrated....

That's the one I got with my 1600+ I quickly replaced it with an alpha8045 + Panaflo L1A to quiet things down
