User in Reddit thread says 'M' in model string represents mobile. Hopefully, implementations will get appropriately high power limits (35-45 W).

This is the 35W TDP APU.

P.S. Im wondering which one of you will be first to spot the "strangeness" of the scores vs. clocks of the GPU.

^^^ That, plus no memory clock speeds, and the score is lower than an 8c/800mhz carrizo gpu. Granted, I'm only seeing what other apu gpu info is out there, no expert on Sisoft benches in the least.

Supposedly the GPU has 1.8 TFLOPs of compute performance, according to the SiSoft benchmarks.

Over 1.2 GHz core clock, if the GPU has 11 CU's.

P.S. The CPU has 4 MB of L3 cache.

The rating in Sandra is "Single-float GP Compute: 1806,40 Mpix/s" - that's not the TFLOP/s. The TFLOP/s for this sample is probably 11 * 128 * 800 = 1.12 for the GPU part, but I guess that may not be final.

It's Vega based. Having a higher GPU clock compared to previous APU's does not surprise me at all.

Does anyone know what VNC stands for concerning RR?

It's all around in the patches of Linux kernel concerning RR.

ps. No VP9 decode

HBM can only be present in one bigass APU. Horned Owl doesn't fit that bill.

Where is RR in those slides? Also Gray Hawk is going to be consumer level or enterprise ?

Great Horned Owl is the embedded equivalent of Raven Ridge. Banded kestrel will be a very good APU for ultrathin. AMD can finally target design wins in tablets as they have a competitive CPU core and superior graphics.

I thought AMD had said as much but it's darn near fact that any Zen based CPU will be using Vega. It's one of the biggest points of them developing IF.
