What?....I said...nice card....WTF is hard to work out there......I then went on to say, 2x9 pin, i though less power requirements with smaller die?...I have no idea what the rest of your bleat is about?....

You said 2x8, and what does the card have to do with this? I'm just not sure if you were actually being serious about power consumption, like I said if it was a joke - booooo!

The chips themselves don't necessarily get smaller, if anything one could say they keep getting "bigger" with each node shrink. Don't you remember the day when your high end Voodoo didn't use a power connector or your brand spanking new Intel DX4 didn't need a power source?

Why I'm not sure if serious haha.

I don't understand why people get excited about how a video card looks. I couldn't care less. I put it in my case and never look at it. I don't care if it looks like Cindy Crawford's mole with Howard Stern's hair growing out of it, all I care about is it's performance characteristics. I remember similar threads about how people thought the gtx480 looked badazz with it's huge exposed heatsink and heatpipes protruding out of the side. I thought people lamenting about how neat it looked was weird then, too. Benchmarks and screenshots of GPU-Z get me more excited than product pictures.

On the other hand, AMD has demonstrated excellent product execution in the past few years. From the hd3xx0 series to the hd7xx0, they are quick to release and execute full product lineups in short order. Nvidia should be taking notes.

Ouch, ChipHell is getting worse and worse with their fake posts...

I do like the design though, and can tell the author put a lot of thought into the build and presentation.

I agree that it is going to be one amazing performing card....but how nerdy are we that we are oogling over the appearance of something that we only look at when we are installing, modifying, cleaning, or uninstalling? :p
