Some More Bad News for those planning to build an AM2 based system.
No more price cuts after this one for the year. And it looks like the AM2 X2 4000+, 4400+, and 4800+'s with 1 MB per core of L2 cache may be discontinued (see the pricing table in that link).
However, it is looking like we're going to get more of a price cut across the board than what we initially expected.
The AM2 3800+ X2 looks like it will drop to $149 - a deal for anyone looking to OC it upwards of 2.6 GHz
