Mushroom Guy: Say now...Apple is a fairly powerful company. Their IMac did very well and I expect their cube to do good as well. They are not all like cyrix. See, PC's are more powerful, tweakeable, OCable, and have more games for em, whereas Macs are more trendy, simple(not 4 or 5 different kinds CPU's for em, LOL), quieter and smaller. MAcs don't suck that much, and now they are far more of a rival to MicroSHAFT than Cyrix is to AMD. Just my $.02.

"INtel = Nero."

huh?

AMD isn't like nVidia, nVidia is just a tiny wee company compared to AMD.

I suspect we COULD see the current .18 micron Copper process go to 1.5ghz (with the Mustang/Palomino core). They will probably go to .15 Micron for transition to whatever .13 process they could get.. also, AMD has been thinking of creating a new FAB near the current one in Dresden if I remember correctly.

on a different angle, I found out that they've discovered a way to use light lithography to get much lower then they originally thought (using quantum properties as far as I know), I think below .1 micron (100 nanometers).
