Anyone else get the AMD newsletter where they announced the Piston? Smaller than ITX and awfully tempting!

The price is high, but the size and looks are so dang sexy...

I'd never buy one. But isn't it cool? :D

Man those specs with that price tag is pretty crazy, that being said the all-in-one and compactness of it are pretty spiffy. Guessing a good chunk of that money went into the development and construction costs for the casing, heatsink, and motherboard all being unique and seemingly annoying to produce as it differs from the standard manufacturing processes out (that I know of).

Still pretty damned cool.

Yeah, it looks like the bottom right quad is all eSATA.

Too many eSATA then ;)

4 x USB 2 + 4 x USB 3 + 4 x eSATA does seem like massive overkill for an APU box. Who is going to attach 4 separate external drive enclosures?

Shades of the original PS3 shown with 12 HDMI ports *

* actual number may be less.

Obviously you're going to use all those to make a NAS.*

* May be bigger than a normal NAS :awe:
