Got my FX-53 to 2.6Ghz just by raising the multiplier, if i raise the FSB at all i loose stability. I think this is just an issue with 940 socket FX's, 939 have more room for OC'ing with the FSB.

My locked barton 2500 @ 2.6ghz, 430mhz fsb 1.725 vcore, Thermalright SLK800u, TT Smartfan2 , PQI PC3200 (512x2), Abit NF7-S v2.0 Black Mantaray bios 🙂

If I drop the FSB to 202 Mhz, I can run (safe and moderately quiet) Prime95, UT2004 stable at 2.63 Ghz on my 2400 Mobile. It's not quite as all-around fast as what's shown in my sig, but for UT2004, CPU power is THE ticket for high FPS in my setup.

My record with the 2400 mobile was 2.7 ghz on air, Prime95 stable with in-place large FFT. The heat was scary (56 C), and I'm sure that it wasn't condusive to long pprocessor life. With the fans howling, t wasn't good for my hearing either.:Q

Nice OC!

I have a unlocked mobile barton at 12 x 211, 2526 MHZ.
DFI infinity motherboard.
It took 1.825 Vcore and a cheapie watercooling rig to get it to prime, but it is stable.

AMD64 2800+ (1.8 ghz) currently running at 2538 ghz on air with a venus 12 hsf @ 1.7 volts. Memory timings are holding me back and I am tweaking them as I type this.

Using a DFI Lanparty UT nf3-250 gb board. Couldnt get over 2403 mhz stable with the epox 8kda3j or chaintech znf3-250 board.
