No, the EE'S are based on a core known as "Galitin" or somthing like that, but from what I hear its basicly a northwood with more cache, correct me if i am wrong since i am not 100%.

You are right. But P4G is more a remarked XEON with no MP support.
 
carlosd thanks for clearing it up, I knew it was something like that. But back to the thread, I think AMD would outsell Intel alot more if they had a second fab.

FAB 30 is the saving grace of AMD, that place knocks holes out of silicon like theres no 2moro, however they plan to convert it to Flash once FAB 36 is online, If only AMD would keep FAB 30/FAB 36 online at the same time for a few years they would really pick up market share,, OEM'S like dell would think twice because they would then have the capcity to give X number of Opterons/A64'S.
