Right now I would go with:
Dual AMD Opteron 252 on a Tyan K8WE S2895. That gives you the option for Dual Core Opterons and Nvidia SLI with two 16x PCI E slots. :thumbsup:

True, but generally he is correct. For most video and audio encoding, Intel is still the best choice overall especially for multi-tasking. For gaming and everything else that works best on single-threading, AMD is the way to go. 'nuff said.
