AMD or Intel mobo for dual 4770's?

You mean 'Crossfired' 4770s 🙂. Well, it depends on what CPU you'd be getting aswell or memory etc.....

I would get the AMD motherboard.

At the $100-$120 price point the AMD board will give you dual x16 lanes in Crossfire. An intel P45 mobo will only give you dual x8.

Even though some will say dual x8 PCI-E 2.0 is not limiting with current non-X2 GPUs the next generation (RV870, GT300) will probably be different.
