Blah blah, if they want some kind of protection, why they don't hardwire some information (like the
multiplier is hardwired now) that is shown to the user before POST telling him the processor is
overclocked (like a "Your-processor-is-running-out-of-spec /
Please-contact-your-vendor-for-tech-support / Press-any-key) ??
It would please both enthusiasts and the general public.

t-birds are supposed to be ease to overclock, dipswitch does the trick. But you have a nice idea there. Wonder what AMD and Intel will do with it😛
 
The latest blurb tells us that even the t-birds will be locked (very much like Intel processors). Unfortunately
