AMD Kaveri Holodeck Dome TrueAudio Orchestra

Several videos of the AMD holodeck dome orchestra demo has more interesting info about the hw sw tech. Apparently a single A10 Kaveri is used for 360 gesture control and Trueaudio 32.4 multistereo along with environmental sound processing. A FirePro is used to curve and blend graphics over six Eyefinity projections. The music sounds pretty good and it looks like something out of a Disney/Pixar movie!

The educational uses for this would seem to only be limited by one's imagination.

It seems that everyone things that Anandtech is for their personal promotion or advertizing....

How different is youtube from promotional video/literature from some review website?
Or is it because of the OP?

What in the world is wrong with Youtube? 😕 If people want to see what this is all about, do a search for AMD Surround House 2 on Youtube it's actually really cool. The video by "J Tech TV" is a good look at the whole deal.

Very simple, its its promotional then its not allowed. If its a real website with a real benchmark then its allowed.

Do I need to lock this ?

Since news of the AMD holodeck domed orchestra was reported by a Las Vegas article, there wasn't much info about the tech behind it. The linked YouTube was just like other links that have been posted in the other sections when trying to provide complete info about a tech when slides or benchmarks are inadequate. Also the links are just showing a unique application of tech that would appeal to users of this site and were expressly for educational purposes.

It is incredible that a few users can point and claim something, as if their opinion overruled everyone else.
