You need to tell that to Acme Micro in Fremont, CA because they've had them in stock for almost a week now. When I was in there last Tuesday they had a couple dozen in stock, just wish I had $1500 to buy a pair of them. In fact that?s where I learned Intel made a 2.4GHz Xeon in the first place

Pricewatch.com comes up with nothing when I search for "Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz Xeon Processor" and Acme Micro's site doesn't list any 2.4GHz Xeons either.
If they're available at all, they're in very limited quantities...
theres the hassle of upgrading... what do i really get for reinstalling my OS? i get to turn off the cartoony interface then figure out how to puy "my computer" back on the desktop.
