I was looking at a computer ad when i noticed that it had a processor called the AMD Turion 64. Anyone know anything about it? Thanks already.

Its there version of Centrino (they may be calling the cpu a Turion as well) While it has an eye on power consumtion it isn't quite as anal as Intel. The CPUs used are 35W-50W Cpus which puts them at 15W-25W more then a Pentium M.

That's quite a ways off...

1. TDP isn't power usage...
2. Turion is a CPU, Centrino is a whole platform that uses the PentiumM CPU
3. Turion has a TDP of 25w or 35w depending on which model
4. The actual power use of a Turion is the same as a Pentium M

BTW...Turion is 64bit, Pentium M is 32 bit...
