Wow there's like 4 games on there that I want. Watch dogs I'm kinda iffy on since it will be a console port.

Dude, have you seen AMD's stock price lately? These games OBVIOUSLY can't be good, I mean how can AMD sponsor a good game unless they have at least 12 billion in net profit. I hope you can see the correlation.

Hahaha funny to see Lost Planet 3 on that list after LP2 was a poster child for tessellation on Nvidia hardware.

Watch Dogs is probably the only game I'm looking forward to on their upcoming games, but I'm sure BF4, COH2, and Rome 2 will all be big hits on PC.

The best thing about these being Gaming Evolved titles, IMO, is that they will run well on everyone's hardware. No lockouts. No vender specific features. I wish people would realize the importance of this.

Grid 2 - meh
Company of Herpes 2 - could be good
Rome 2 - I've heard it's still pretty much single threaded, stupid CA, I refuse to buy until they make it more multithreaded and without the insane load times of Shogun 2
Splinter Cell Blacklist - meh
Lost Planet 3 - meh
BF4 - meh, I know it's gonna be popular but I'm jaded with this genre
Raven's Cry - never heard of it
Watch Dogs - ???

Best typo ever... pretty much the title to a abstinence film for pre teenagers.

BF4/COH2/a new TW these probably the biggest releases for PC coming this year.

Actually on your note about single threaded, CA claimed it uses multithreading now thanks to their partnership with Intel, but could be PR BS.

CoH2's beta is pretty good except for the awful UI.

Or a horror series because herpes is just going to come back over and over again like Freddy or the Saw guy. No wonder they made a sequel to Company of Herpes--sequels are inevitable! 😛

I hadn't heard that, but good to know. I hope they really mean it this time, because they claimed multithreading for Shogun 2 before it released, and it turned out to be more or less single-threaded anyway.

COH 2 is the only game that really interests me enough to consider paying full price for it. Rome 2 could be fun but I just cant seem to get the hang of the total war games. FC3 and Crysis 3 I might buy when they go on a steam sale.

I have been playing Shogun 2 and I read that it was supposed to be multithreaded, but it is the most single threaded game I have ever seen. No matter what settings I use, even extremely high graphics to try to make it GPU limited, it totally pegs one core of the cpu and barely uses any of the other cores on an i5.

Am i the only one that thinks the next true multi threaded game will turn out to be the biggest unoptimized mess ever? I really think, much similar to the prevalence of microstuttering and poor frame latency in gpus, that multithreaded games will take a while to work right.

Well now that AMD has moved onto GCN for everything tessellation is a moot point. Especially in the games where they tacked on an extreme tessellation almost as a tech demo IE Metro 2033.
