Are you purposely ignoring the pump noise in the equation?, or is that not part of the card?

When they are measuring the noise isn't the pump running?

I saw several reviews mention the high pitch whine of the pump.

It's way, way less noise than any "normal" blower under load, but could be annoying in idle.
