From what I understand of economics, its never really a bad thing to make money as a for-profit business

bahgdad bob may have had the wrong "we" in his sentence but he wasn't exactly wrong...so far as I am aware the "green zone" is decidely smaller than the national borders of Iraq or even the city limits of Baghdad. But hey, you can't expect to accomplish too much in 6 years, after all look at how long it took to defeat Germany, Italy, and Japan in WWII.

Now that you mention it comparing AMD's performance post C2D to our success in Iraq is very similar

Back on topic, I hope Hector is right and AMD finds the magic bullet that brings them back to profitability.

Competition is a ALWAYS good thing and an AMD thats turning profits is a health(ier) AMD.
