AMD E1-2500 (1.4GHz) enough for office work?

I have used an E1-2500 rather extensively. The absolute worst experience I've ever had on it is on "Web 2.0"/Flash-happy sites that just bog the system down. It isn't pretty. Otherwise it works well enough under Win8.1 so long as I don't try to do anything too serious with it.
