I'm having serious issues with the AMD drivers on my computer and I cannot seem to make any progress myself.
I cannot seem to upgrade my AMD Graphics drivers past 14.3. I've tried uninstalling all my drivers twice and both times, even though I specified that the USB Driver should not be removed, my chipset driver has been uninstalled and I've had to use a system restore. I'm also now unable to access AMD Catalyst. It seems to have completely disappeared.
There's a huge mess of files named 'AMD', 'ATI', 'ATI Technologies' in my Program Files(x86), Program Files, and an 'AMD' folder in my C: Drive. I know many of these are duplicates but I'm afraid to delete any of them and mess something up.
This is really driving me crazy. I, apparently, have no idea what I'm doing. I'm in need of help. How do I properly remove ALL AMD drivers & reinstall them, without messing up my computer and having to do a system restore and being back to square one. I need a fresh slate. Would reinstalling windows be my only option at this point?
