AMD cuts prices

Keep in mind that the 8-core BD is now almost exactly 2x the die size compared to IB (315mm vs. 160mm). That's gotta hurt, because Intel rarely has yield issues AMD has to price theirs BELOW a chip half their size.

I'm surprised they even sell the FX 4000 series, they've got to make next to nothing on it, if anything it should be an OEM only release in limited quantity so they aren't throwing away defective chips.

Got all excited until I noticed how bad the selection of ITX boards is for AMD vs Intel. I really wanted to test a cheaper Llano. But 2 ITX boards pulled up on Newegg. :\

not much to offer in itx unfortunately for amd

Sadly this is what has kept me from building my mini itx machine for a little while now. I'm just hoping there will be some FM2 offerings when Trinity is released. I think they would be a bit crazy not too.
