Hi, I was wondering how I can tell what kinda of core of have for my AMD XP 1800+. Is there a way to tell, without looking at the chip what stepping and core i have? AGOGA or AGOIA? and whether its a tbred or palomino core? Some info i have been able to obtain about my cpu

No way to tell what stepping you have without taking out your processor. Though 1800+'s were both made as Thoroughbreds and Palominos, I'd be confident to say you had a Palomino, as I've never seen any retail Thoroughbred for sale, thats not a 2200+ (Though, I did see some 1600+'s as Thoroughbreds in the FS forum).
