Fresh leak out today, not much is known but at least 8cu's is confirmed. Probably an engineering sample, core count is unknown and clocks may not be final.

This is very interesting to me because cezanne is seemingly 8cu only, and it seems unlikely to me that AMD could squeeze any more performance out of vega. A cpu only upgrade of renoir may be lackluster compared to tigerlake's quite large GPU.

What do you guys think? Will zen 3 be a large enough improvement in APU form? Will it have full cache? Are there more than 8cus? Has AMD truly evolved vega yet again or is it more like rdna?

That's pretty gross, static 3 GHz as well. If nothing else it should be significantly below the 15W TDP in real usage.

It's like Intel with their Celerons... except AMD wants to charge Ryzen 3 prices for it. You do get 3 Ghz at least. The lack of boost is probably deliberate in catching chips that can't clock high too.

It's tough to think they are getting that many chips that need to be cut this far down though.

Here a 5700G on a Asus Pro A320M-R WI-FI

RjWN2l2.png

It was suprising because this board went from Ryzen 1000-3000 support to full AM4 w/Cezanne. They never released those Renoir bios for this one.

This is also the worst AM4 board that exists, it is probably the only AM4 board whiout M2 slot, and the only one that i know that has no memory timing controls and memory clock is limited to 2933 no matter what.

Respectable score for 2933. I'm probably throwing a R5 5500 in my A320M HDV R4.0. Fortunately I'm able to get 3200mhz CL14 on this board.

R7 5700 non-G non-X spotted in the wild on ibuypower pre-build pc website

Costs 16$ less than 5700X, with this high pricing it doesn't seem like it's gonna be sold for DIY people.
The only reason for this CPU to exist is it's the cheapest "ryzen 7" for AMD to make, since It's monolithic "Cezanne" die.

That looks a little bonkers - 8 cores and 12 Threads?

I assume you lose PCIe4 as well, naturally.

If you Google, that processor does not exist on the AMD website.

Rumors about that model are quite thin.If it doesn't exist on the AMD site, there is some good or bad reason for that.

For example, if you Google you can find all this on AMD website.

- R5 5600

- R5 5500

- R5 4500

- R5 4600G

- R5 4650G

- R5 3500X(China only), but it the past it was available at my local retailer in Croatia

This model also doesn't exist on the AMD website. But hey, you can buy it today or right now here in Croatia. :grinning:

4150GE doesn't exist on the amd website too, yet hp sells it in their mini PCs.

Same with 2100GE

Same with embedded ones like 5900E and 5950E that showed up in the recent Videocardz article.

Seems like as long as long as there's (my guess) just one OEM partner, they doesn't list specs on the website.

edit: found one more cpu missing from amd site - r7 6860Z

I've seen the X variant briefly on sale here in Denmark. Was gone pretty quick, and never came back in stock. Never seen a non-X 3500 though.

While we're comparing strange variants, I'll raise you a 3600A:

Appears to be a bog standard non-X 3600, but without cooler. Actually seems a very decent budget deal, since it's cheaper then a 4500.

What do you guys make of this?

Looks a lot like Desktop Barcelo (Cezanne Refresh). So a slightly faster 5700G (same base, 4,6GHz -> 4,8GHz boost, no data on iGPU clocks). So either AMD's 2023+ mobile nomenclature also comes to desktop APUs, or another fake.

All posts in CPUs and Overclocking require personal commentary rather than just a link.

Asus Turkey seemingly confirms the 7730U.
Which simultaneously confirms this is fake (IMHO):

5700U is Renoir-based, so not xx30 and having 2 Zen3 U-class 8 core SKUs doesn't make sense.

This chip is likely a 5825U (Barcelo) rebrand or slight refresh.

There's a reason the above linked 6 core is 7530U and not 7630U too. 7000 refreshes/rebrands seem to move down 1 tier.
