Most people have already beaten Witcher 2 and Brink; finally releasing crossfire profiles for those games really only affects casual buyers at this point.

Sorry but lolwhat?....

casual buyers?

a profile update that lets people with Crossfire owners enjoy a game as it should be is important for both AMD and its customers.

Edit: what i ment to say about the casual buyers part: Is one to conclude that with your thinking, "hardcore" gamers buy all games on day one and finish them within a few days? You know that a games success is measured in how many kopies it can sell troughout its "lifetime"? I dont buy games on day one. And there are many more like me im betting.

Have a terrible lens-flare bug in Witcher 2 with these new drivers. Oh well, so much for fixing it.

ati calls this a hotfix but the only thing by chance it might fix are those famous driver crashs if anything

I actually have been waiting for this driver update and, hopefully in the next couple days, the Witcher 2 patch before firing it up.

Thanks for the generalization though, you're completely wrong in my case but I suppose you could be right for millions of others!

Your PC misses you, it feels neglected, unloved... untouched. Forget your finals, go play The Witcher 2. :sneaky:

Flickering still present in Cataclysm, I'm afraid. At least for me. Running on a 6950 setup. Its been there since 11.5 I'm 95% sure and persists through 11.5a and 11.5b.

AMD drivers starting to give me a hard time....I installed a new SSD so did a complete update, and 11.5 is giving me BSODs within a few seconds of loading BF:BC2. Threw on 11.4 and the BSODs come after 30-45min of playing.

I can rule out the new drive because it doesnt happen with Xfire disabled. I am trying to remember which drivers I was using before, because they worked fine.

yup ocguy i believe the old drivers were good ones but it sucks the newer cards like the 6990 are prune with issues cause of the latest drivers,i returned my 6990 cause it caused my system to hang up reinstalling them and i ended up having to format ,but hopefully they can get a stable driver out soon cause i like their bang for buck but their drivers for me have been a nightmare, but perhaps its the game bc2,as thats the only game that seems to have some sort of issue
