Part that drove me crazy is she showed me how to turn it on,like as if i never turned on a pc in my entire life.

If i was such a idiot,it would have been like someone whos been driving a efi car,and giving it a go with the old manual choke carb and not getting anywhere.

Turning a machine on is idiot proof.

I know how to install video drivers ok.

I have owned many video cards with zero issues with drivers.

That 6990 was the only card that has given me that much of a issue.

Maybe the card was faulty perhaps a bad registry from a previous driver who knows .

I was running dual 5770s for a while minus the occasional bc2 crash the set up was peachy, what makes you think i installed the driver for the 6990 any less differently?

Well, it was meant tongue in cheek, but I wonder how people can say the drivers are crap when they seem to work fine for virtually everyone else.

Sorry if I upset you. I was just making a point. It was intended lightheartedly.

Nope you did'nt upset me but hey you think i did the 2 hour drive to the frys i shop at to get a $700+ video card so i could come home and have nothing but issues with it?

I was up the entire night trying to troubleshoot why my previous card that being a gtx460 was pumping out better fps then the 6990 in bc2.

Every couple of seconds that card would show its true numbers but for the most part that card was troublesome maybe a bad experience with a bad card perhaps i cant say.

Perhaps the blame could be bc2 i wont ever know.
