Dankk's reaction is my first impression...but I think I'll try it just to see if it's worth despising. What's really annoying is that they don't note the introduction of this "Gaming Evolved Control Center" in the driver release notes, so many people are going to end up installing something that's about as useful as bloatware without even realizing it.
They don't mention it in the driver release notes, but they do, however, mention it in the installer itself. The only nuisance is that you have to select the Custom install option and uncheck the program in order to keep it off your machine.
As far as I'm concerned, the "AMD Gaming Evolved Control Center" and the "Nvidia Geforce Experience" programs, or whatever they're called, are designed for less-than-savvy PC gamers who are too clueless to manually adjust their graphics settings. That's pretty much all they do, right? If there's some kind of wizardry involved that magically makes my games run faster, then I'll give it a try; otherwise I know how to tweak my settings on my own, thanks.
