Discussion AMD cards available right now!

Thanks

However, their cheapest 6800 XT is $836 which is almost $200 more than the vanilla $649 6800 XT that I hope to get some day. Will keep waiting.........

If they were selling them for $649 they wouldn't be in stock 2 minutes, let alone 2 hours after the post was made.

When I checked the link earlier they had 4 different models available, and now they're down to just 1. I have a feeling you're going to be waiting for a while because only $200 above MSRP is a reasonable deal for a lot of people.

Out of stock.

Nelson laugh! HA HA!

With a $130 markup over MSRP, better off waiting some more in the EVGA 3080 queue.

Many of these cards can be found somewhat easily but at a 20-30% markup. It's a real ripoff for a 3090 or 6900XT, with the base price being so high already.

Most I'd pay for a NIB 6800XT is $700... which means getting my money's worth and keeping it pushing frames until at least 2024.

GTX 3060 ti MSI Ventus OC model, 2x DP / 2x HDMI ports, $419, sounds reasonable. If only it were in-stock.

OP, how often does this site get re-stocked? I'd like a few of the above for mining.

Regular Sapphires 6900XT: 1099.00

sapphires 6900XT nitro+ : 1169.99

i do not think they are that overpriced.... better then ebay and amazon scalpers by a huge margin.

But i bet you they are botters.
They have bots running trying to get cards and then reselling them at a profit but less then scalpers.

I just got an email from our local computer store chain, central computers, and they have Sapphire 6800 Nitro cards in stock in store only for $749.

If anyone sees a 6800xt in stock please let me know, as I can order it along with my pet Unicorn and Fairy Dust.

Thanks

NJ Microcenter had some yesterday, but that was yesterday and yesterday's gone! Now kindly tell me where I can get a 3080 RTX.

I wonder when the nerd civil war is going to break out?

We should have an armed March on Beijing, all the way to parliament at Tiananmen Square, to demand they make us more graphics cards!

I’m sure that will go over well...

Yeah. Here there simply is no stock at all. I now regret not having jumped on a RTX 3060 TI as they were available for a couple days few weeks back. AMD never really was in stock at all. For RX 6800 (XT) the shop list only to models with possible availability: One in mid february (>10 units RX 6800 STRIX for $900)and one early march (3 units RX 6800XT PULSE for $1400). Look at these prices. Just ridiculous. the 3060 TIs were to be had for around $500. A steal on performance/$ in comparison.

TSMC is Taiwanese... Marching on Beijing will have no impact at all.

Actually in Europe it seems a load of AMD cards arrived, because in Germany there are several vendors listing 6800, 6800XT and 690XT as "in stock" while there are practically no 3080. 3090 and 3070 are more abundant. You can check geizhals.de for the status. Also, Mindfactory seems to have sold several of the 6800 series in week 2, not so less than the 3000 series: , with the 3070 being the bulk ove the 3000 series sales. I have to add unfortunately that none of these cards are even near the MRSP.

This is a classic supply/demand problem which has been severely exacerbated by a global pandemic.

Complain about scalpers all you want but somehow they are getting the cards, cpus etc. but I'm sure they are going to great lengths to snag a few, thus their "premium" on selling price.

Microcenter seems to do a good job of having some supply but sells out so fast that unless you want to camp out for a couple days your luck in getting one is remote.

Newegg is where I do a majority of my purchases but the 3000 series of Nvidia and 6000 series of AMD gpus have something in common - "OUT OF STOCK"!

Samething for most of AMD's 5000 series of cpus (got mine on Ebay at a higher price but to me a fair one considering the situation).

Also factor in that with so many more people working remotely, the demand for pcs, laptops etc spiked. Very hard for the distributors to catch up.

TSMC is probably working at 110% but there is a limit.
