I look forward to another thread on BD if it does not happen. The goal we should all strive for it a BD thread a day.

But i hope it does come out finally. Even though i stated in another thread it is too late I did upgrade to a 990X chipset so i could upgrade it is worth it.

amd finally realsing cpus ,,,,,,,, strange not for s745

probably will upgrade to ssd instead ,,,,,,, not worth it for me ,,, will probably be unstable,, bring on socket for 8 cpu design g34,,, amd finally catch up with intel tri-channel

Buy one of these....

Anyways i hope this thing is competitive, would be awesome if it could at least beat a 2500k.

Im assuming that Intel will cut prices on their "overpriced" line of Sandy Bridge CPUs in response to this launch. Would that be a fair assumption? I've been thinking about buying a Sandy Bridge CPU for a long time now and I guess I never really needed too. Just always wanted to. But the high prices kept me back. Its $150 for a crummy i3-2125 then I gotta buy a $100 motherboard to go with it. That is $250 which I could have spent on a PlayStation 3. So I have something a little faster than my aging Pentium Dual-Core E6300. I guess the only market that exists at this point in time for more advanced technology is hardcore gamers and what not.

Anyway, I really hope this drives the prices down.

Seeing how the i5 2500k can be found for $150 at MC, I don't think its valid to classify Sandy Bridges as being overpriced. You are getting 980x gaming performance for ~$200.

Also, all pricing is relative. Bulldozer has to really do well for Intel to need to drop prices. As long as there nothing that can beat Intel at their price points, they are not overpriced.

Guys I apologize if I shouldn't have posted this. I just like bringing news no matter how little it is.

I believe it. Its 5 days away according to this thread. We will see, if its not out Oct 12th then I apologize to everyone including mods. Thank you gg and gl and gb

I hope too it comes out soon,,,I have a 980x @ 4GHz but I am all for competition and low prices,,,god bless. I may or may not upgrade, still waiting for reviews,, not sure when the next gen is coming out, may go SB-E or Bulldozer or just wait for later., TY GN and GL all god bless
