I still don't really trust OBR, but if he is telling the truth, why all these teasers? He's still breaking NDA, but not releasing any useful information. My feeling is that these are all fake. It's too easy to fake this kind of stuff, and nobody could ever even have any proof because he hasn't released any actual information.

In God We Trust, Others Must Show Verifiable Benchys. :D

I dunno. That last figure before PI value output -> pi data.txt still starts with a 1 and it's not in the position of a single but a double digit. If it's that OC'd and still scoring over 10s it seems to my relatively uneducated in the ways of superpi mind that this is still a CPU that's going to have to work its silicon off to match even a 2500K let alone an SB-E/IB. But then again, that's just my humble opinion.

yes.
I think with these multithreaded chips benching wprime 32m would be useful to know.
Also rewriting superpi to handle these double-sized FPUs.

 Couldn't have said it better. Over @ HardOCP I've heard the date is Sept 6th D:

AMD has been late so many times (at least it seems like that) releasing their new line of processors that it's become inexcusable. In fact it would not surprise me if we only see actual volume of Bulldozer around Christmas time. :(

Go ahead and flame me, but fool me a few times shame on you AMD, after that I just don't believe anymore.

Sure it's probably real...there are no benchmark figures shown (do they suck that bad?) and that's hardly proof of being stable! Let it run OCCT or Linpack overnight and then maybe...MAYBE we'll talk!

Otherwise that basically proves nothing that we cannot already do with stuff we can buy now. D:

It’s more convincing after these clips.

Haha this guy is putting this stuff up just to get hits on his lousy videos.

I've never seen text on a POST screen like that (second video). The video card BIOS (not motherboard) determines the font. If this was actually real he would have a static camera angle covering the entire system showing a cold power on, booting to Windows desktop.

Both CPU-Z and mobo tweaking utility are done in the same manner. He cannot even leave super-pi open to show how fast or slow it computes, then closes it not even showing the results.

If someone is going to fake it at least get good at editing video or find someone that is. It's not hard to do...
