AMD boards w/ DDR2 when?

Although I'm pretty much a noob overall, I did build an Athlon64-based system for a friend in January of this year and it's worked fine for him. I'm starting to get antsy to build one for myself (likely with an X2 processor), and I know right now AMD is still doing DDR and they're supposedly going to move on to DDR2 next year. Yes, I saw that DDR3 may be a year or two after that, but I'm not going to wait that long. This Dell I have now from 2002 isn't going to satisfy me for much longer.

So my question is, do we have something more solid than "2006" for when AMD will start putting boards out with DDR2? If it's not going to be until Fall, I'm going to go ahead and get something in a few months. If it's going to be in, say, March, I can wait. Anyone have any idea?

Ok, I looked up what that was (told you I'm clueless). Do we know when that is?

*Edit* Looked around for a while and saw Q2 2006.

i think what amd is thinking is that by the time M2 comes out, the latencies of ddr2 will be similar to the ddr latencies now. then, it would give a benefit.
