As long as they keep making video cards and not trampolines and gym equipment.

It a volatile industry, always has been. Even if they control 30 to 40% of the discrete GPU market, Nvidia could erase that in a single generation if the pulled their act together.

Any sane person wants to see AMD do well and produce a competitive product. Only a complete fool wants to see Nvidia dominate the GPUs and Intel dominate the CPUs. It was only a month and a half ago that we saw Nvidia's pricing scheme for when they're in contro, 450 for a midrange card and 650+ for the high end. Bull.

I could see it happening. AMD and Nvidia have real close products under ~$150 or so, above that price I think AMD has the advantage all the way up. Not to mention AMD is making money on the cards they sell, I doubt Nvidia is doing so on it's GTX260 and it's probably not making much on the GTX280. But, the big difference is, right now AMD has the very positive buzz on their products. Just like Intel has on it's CPU's right now. Also, I would have to think that AMD is shifting integrated GPU's left and right.
