Just in case anyone is looking for these, I just called AMD and got them to mail me some case stickers for free. They only have the stickers for the athlon and the duron. The number is 800.222.9323. I had to call twice before I got through, but I got several stickers mailed out for free, so it was worth it to me.
 
I orderd 70 Athlon case stickers 🙂

I don't remember the website tho...i didn't call...they have a page on their website where you can order them from. I have the numbers for everything tho... (i even got a poster!!)

Can you just fill in the information with those sticker #'s in the fields at the bottom? Are they free or how much are they? I've got 2 extra metal athlon stickers, not beveled or anything though. My friend could use a Duron sticker.
 
yeah? this IS totally free right? Has anyone gotten theirs yet? I called em on the phone back when this thread was first started.. the lady was surprised.. or confused.. I said "I want some bezel stickers".. she was all "huh?".. I explained.. she thought it was funny and said that she was gonna mail em right away.. I haven't gotten em yet.. although that was only .. uh.. three days ago.. and that would have been a friday or thursday I guess.. I just ordered all of that stuff that Omnipotentspleen posted too.. I hope they don't cut me off cause I'm greedy.. but hey.. I wouldn't mind having a bunch of stickers.. that's pretty sweet.. a poster.. sure.. I'll just suit up my old toyota with amd stickers 🙂.. I can see it now

I got a little mad at Directron for selling these same stickers for $4 each that we can get for free.. they also said "not for resale" on the bottom of em.. I bought an Athlon sticker from them before AMD gave me a free 35 sticker sheet of the same ones that Directron sold to me for $4 I really should flame them for it but they are a good place so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but it is very dishonest of them to sell them for so high when they get them for free just like we do by contacting AMD..
 
dude, that's not right.

You should contact AMD and tell them what Directron.com is diong. 4 bucks for 1 sticker they got for free?? I mean, really now people. Sheesh. I think AMD should know about this.

hehe, i just called em up and lied and said that i was starting a comp shop. so they said they'd send me some duron posters! WICKED! 🙂 😀
 
acutally now that i think about it, i think they've been doing this for a long time... back when teh athlon first came out, my friend called up amd and he got a sheet of athlon stickers 🙂 he stuck them on his p3 machine lol
 
Well, I just went to the web site and ordered with the numbers OmnipotentSpleen put up. Lets see what happens!I'll post the results.
 
A number of my friends also orderd those items from that page from AMD...but not all of them recieved them. I don't know what the deal is. I got an email a day later, and the stickers a week after i orderd. so did another friend. hmm..

if they don't email you or send the stuff, just call them and ask what's up.

remember, ALL this stuff is COMPLETELY FREE! 🙂
 
whoo hoo!!! Got mine yesturday. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet... I ordered more through the site.. cause I only got a strip of seven athlon stickers when I called..

Weeeee I got my strip of 7 confermation email that makes my happy! What makes me sad is I read a post from someone returning a CPU found to be remarked....he got a Tshirt,Poster and a BALL Gauol dangit! I WANNA AMD BALL!!!!!!
 
I got my confirmation for some k6-2 stickers and some athlon stickers. Damn they didn't put the post or duron sticker on there, bummer.
 
Hmm...I ordered yesterday on the website, still waiting for email.Might just have to call, I want my stickers!!!!🙁
 
Yep, I sure LOVE my AMD T-Shirt and Ball....not to mention the Duron and Athlon posters and the Duron and Athlon windows stickers on my windows!!

I got my stickers (seven for now), and today.. I got home and had to do a big WHOO HOOOO!!!! cause I saw an open box with a AMD 1 gig t-shirt.. SWEEEEET!!! (My dad was sleeping down here though.. ooops!!) I'm sittin pretty in it right now.. hahah.. I never asked them for one though.. I got my stickers yesturday.. I ordered some more stickers, a poster and whatever those part numbers up there ^^ are...
I have a concern though...
Along with the stickers I got yesturday.. I got an invoice for $0.64, along with the T-shirt I got an invoice for $3.41... now.. I have never gotten an invoice by mail before.. so I don't know if this is an invoice or not.. here is what it says.. or some stuff..

1 GHz T-shirt extra large --- quantity 1 --- unit price 3.41 --- total 3.41

then under that it says..

if checked - free domicile - deleiver duty paid )DDP)..

Now, I know I'm dumb here and everything... but does this mean that I have to send them this money? Cause I have a bunch more stuff coming!!! ???
Anyone that is familiar with invoice/bill type stuff.. please let me know.. I don't think that I have to pay though.. it never said anything on the web site.. or the lady on the phone.. and I thought they always asked for credit card numbers???
Anyways.. enjoying the new T-shirt.. 🙂
