My friend just bought the 2500+ and put it in an nforce2 board and is able to get it stable at 3200+ speeds. He set the frontside bus to 400mhz and then set the multiplyer accordingly. Talk about a sweet deal! Even burned it in for a few days and it is still stable and cool.

I pretty sure the guys think you post was a little bland. :D

But, yes I have yet to see a 2500+ that wont do at least 2.2 with the right board.

I just bought a 2500+ and put it in a K7S5A, and got it stable at 1800+ speeds. I set the frontside bus to 266mhz and there's no multiplier adjustment. Talk about a sweet deal! Even burned it in for a few days and it is still stable and cool.
