The board is Soyo SY-KT333 Dragon Lite.
CPU says Retail boxed

Don't know what all that sacrifices from the Dragon but this looks good to me.

I was wondering too, so I looked it up. Here's the answer...

Dragon Ultra includes:
- RAID controller
- 6 channel audio instead of 4-channel on the Lite
- Adjustable AGP voltage
- Onboard Ethernet
- Onboard USB 2.0

But this 2100+ and Dragon Lite combo looks like a very nice deal to me. I may swing down there and pick it up.

I live in Michigan, we have no Fry's here. I checked their online source but they dont have the same deal. If anyone lives near a Fry's and wouldnt mind picking this up and shipping it to Michigan please let me know. I'm sure Fry's has a good return policy(so you have no chance of getting burned) and perhaps it could be picked up soon and shipped out to me after sufficient funds arrive to you(reimbursement + shipping) I would gladly send a check or MO to whomever has the time/interest to help out. thx much. I don't have a Fry's here in GA either. I ordered from the CA location...all you have to do is call them up. Look up the number @ frys.com and call it. You will probably be speaking to someone that you can't understand too well....but hey I managed to get a mobo/cpu combo about a year ago w/out a problem. Check it out and save yourself the additional shipping costs and time.

Contact the Telesales office at the Sunnyvale store, please call the Sunnyvale store at (408) 617-1300 and ask to speak to the Telesales department.

Okay, I now have a paypal account if any fellow ATers live near a Frys and can help me out getting this combo. I tried to buy it over the phone at Fry's but they wont ship sales specials unless the total is over $300. So if you dont mind grabbing one for me and shipping to Michigan i will gladly paypal u what u need. thx again AT. Jon

Call Fry Telesales at 408-617-1310. I have worked with a very helpful CSR by the name of Lakshmi. FYI - they prefer if you order memory and other items with MOBO combos, as they tell me they lose money on them if you don't buy any additional items.
 
What I don't get is - why wouldn't Fry's put this deal up on Outpost to
make it easier, for those of us without a Fry's in our states, to order?
Fry's wanted an internet store so they took over Outpost.
Now that they own Outpost why not make all the deals available on their internet store also???
 
It's $149.99 at the S.F.Bay Area Fry's. I drive right by Fry's going to, and coming home from work every day, but after working 12 hours every day 7 days a week, the last thing I want to do is go in that huge place. I still have a 45 min.dive and all I want is to get home, eat, check my email and Anantech, and get some sleep. Going to cut back on the hours in Febuary maybe I'll stop then.
