hehe fixed the link I see. check out sharkyextreme.com for a good cpu pricing guide. They update it weekly and this company is always on the list. For some reason they don't list a 650 thunderbird, but if you look this is about the right price for a chip like this.

I could get a Duron 600 (oc 900 easily) for only $59 here at a local B&M (no shipping). The B&M also sells the Thunderbird 650 for $72, but don't know anyone that could oc it.

Caution, that dealer sells overclocked cpus. You may get one that didn't make the grade and is only going to work close to it's face value.

iCompz is a great place... but you do risk them sorting through CPUs... I ordered a 900 there and got it right away but its green and will only do 1054 :( Still it was a good price so Im happy.

Why would you want a 650 MHZ CPU?!
Might as well get 16 MB RAM and a Trident EGA

Unless it is a 650 that will to a Gig. Then I think you would want it.

I was in Toronto last week and saw those prices. The prices was in CDN$ but I converted to USD$. If there are Canadians in here, the locations are the 20 computer stores at College and Spadina...places like Sonnam, Canadacomputers, CNP, and so on.

I bought two Duron 700 (each for $75) and they both can go up to 900Mhz, but my other friends could only get it to 800. There are stories of ppl getting to 1G, but I need to see it with my own eyes to believe it. Just expect to get what you paid for.
