I thought AMD CPU are Dirt Chip compare to Intel

that cpu is great for workers in antarctica or any other cold-weather climate. It obviates the need for exotic heating solutions like "firewood" or maybe "wood burning stoves".

it's a 3.0 ghz dual core cpu, equivalent to an athlon x2 6000+. however, it is designed for use in a dual socket board. Said dual socket board can now have 2 phenom quad cores put in it for an octo-core rig, so there's not much demand for the fx 74 any more.
