AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Retail Boxed Processor with Motherboard $199 @ Outpost.com

don't mean to be rude, but this is the gazillionth repost
oh and btw, it still says 'call for availability' which means out of stock...

If it were in stock I could save a little money going the outpost route instead of to Fry's. At the local B&M it's $219.99

Not rude at all thanks i didnt see it when i searched for "3200" all i saw at first was ram deals. sorry lock/delete

Actually this price is new. Was $199.99 for a couple 2 or 3 ? days about a week ago, then went up to $219.99, back to $199.99 apparently. But yeah, stock apparently is still in question.

I called and was told the processors are expected on Jan 20th. They asked me if I wanted to hold the rest of my order until the processors came in so I said yes. Now I have until the 20th to find a better deal!

Very little $$ though. Don't forget S&H. But then again there would be no tax so it would depend on your sales tax.

Bingo! The deal keeps dying and being brought back to life, tricky Outpost.

by the way, i went by my local fry's today to just buy the in store with the intention of cancelling my online order.. I bought it, and when i got home, called outpost.. To my suprise, the lady told me my order was shipped yesterday and told me it would be at my house tomorrow.. This was good news i guess.. originally i was told it wouldn't be available till the 20th.. Now i gotta take back the stuff i just bought.

I asked the guy at the Duluth (NE Atlanta) Fry's about upgrades and the only one they are authorized to give is the DFI LanParty for $289. That's not too bad of a deal there.

This is a great deal, however, the mobo is usually junk.

Read up on the AT review of this board.

Got a link? Can't seem to find it.

link

I think it was the first revision of this board that got ECS the 'junk' label in relation to the Outpost.com/Fry's Athlon 64 combo deals.
