Finally, an A64 at a price that I would actually consider paying. Oh well, I just ordered a mobile 2600, maybe next month.:D

Whats the probability of the 2800 running 2.2GHZ?:)

SOMEONE with the wallet power get one and tell us!:D

BTW the highest multiplier you can access would be 9 (9x200=1800MHZ), so you would need get some DDR500 that would handle the 244MHZ required to do 9x244=2.2GHZ. Or can you access any multiplier you want with the A64's?:)

I'm going to post this on the hot deals section too. That's OK isn't it? I think it's hot!

at least with the 3200+ and 3000+ and 3400+ you can access only up to the mult it is set to

so for the 3200 and 3000, you can access up to 10x
and for the 3400 you can access up to 11x

:)

Was hoping they were going to be alittle cheaper. I know AMD needs to make some money. But socket 939 will be out soon. So I would have bought this if they were cheaper. I wouldn't feel as bad with the socket going unsupported in the near future.

Wait for the nforce3 250 boards to come out. They have a limit of 250fsb unaffected by PCI/AGP so 2.2ghz is a more realistic goal. DDR500 or good pair of DDR466 is what I recommend.
