Hi all,
I'm currently using an A7V133-board with a duron processor. In the near future I prefer to upgrade to an athlon processor. Of course I can choose for the Athlon XP (which is supported in the BIOS). But I would rather wait for a while and buy a .13 um version of this chip with 512 kB on die cache. The .13 feature will probably give me more overclocking flexibility and the advantage of a larger cache speaks for itself. The strange thing is that I only find reviews about the K8 Hammer architecture. This processor will definately be build with the .13 um SOI process. I thought DRESDEN is already equipped with .13 um lithography machines. I wonder if somebody can give me information if and when a .13 um Athlon (socket A) will be presented by AMD.
Thanks,
THH
