Newegg has 2 versions of the Asus A7N266-VM, the one that claims "AMD Assurance Version is $9 more, whats the difference?

That is the board that has been 'AMD' tested to work without 'problems'... (there are some via & sis boards made that have 'problems'?)

The assurance program is a corporate gimick for bigger companies that like to know the stuff they're has already been tested to work. There's no difference really. Go for the cheaper stuff.

It is just a program that AMD started that says the assured equipment will mee the requirements for future AMD processors down the road
