Amd a7v

Hi:
I recently bought a asus A7v board from a friend and have two problems with it
1: It wants to install "mass storage device controller" and I have no drivers and don't know where to get get them I have looked all over asus site to no avail.
2:If I use ATA100 slots my computer runs in dos compatability mode, I have two Hd's both maxtor 20 & 30 gig that support ultra mode 5 for ATA100, Also as far as far as I can tell I can only enable \disable ATA100 bios and cannot edit it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also I am using ATA 66 cable but read somewherethat it supports ATA100 is this true.

You need to promise ata100 controller. Also if your cable is 80 pin *(with one blue end to the board) it will run ata 100

The ATA-100 & ATA-66 cable are the same,normally the drivers come with the Motherboard CD have you checked to make sure? all my drivers for my MSI board were on the CD which came with the motherboard.
